SWISS Senses is the airline's new first and business class, and this winter exactly four long-haul routes out of Zurich have it. Everything else keeps the old cabin, at fares that do not distinguish the two. The four are in place when the winter timetable starts on 25 October 2026 and runs to late March, the day Bengaluru also begins.
Zurich to Bengaluru, five times a week
| Flight | Days | Departs | Arrives | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zurich to Bengaluru | LX 140 | daily except Monday and Wednesday | 13:20 | 02:55 the next day |
| Bengaluru to Zurich | LX 141 | daily except Tuesday and Thursday | 04:50 | 10:50 the same day |
Bengaluru is the fifth Indian destination from Zurich, and SWISS has never flown there before. The 04:50 return is early even for Indian long-haul, and it lands in time for the European morning wave.
Which flights have SWISS Senses
Boston daily as LX 54 and LX 55, Seoul three times a week as LX 112 and LX 113. Johannesburg and selected Shanghai flights join this winter.
First class is three seats, one of them a double suite, in an A350-900 of 242 seats with 45 business, 38 premium economy and 156 economy. Three seats is why SWISS first class out of Zurich is hard to buy at a sensible price.
The retrofit runs to 2030
A retrofit takes an aircraft out of service and rebuilds the cabin inside it, and SWISS has years of it ahead. A350-900 deliveries run from mid-2025 to the end of 2027, all with the new cabin. The first of 14 A330-300s went into the shop at HAECO in Hong Kong in July 2026, the 12 Boeing 777-300ERs follow with no start date published, and the whole long-haul fleet is meant to be done by 2030.
Until then the cabin belongs to the flight, not the route. The booking engine shows the aircraft type, and it is worth reading again a week before departure, because aircraft get swapped mid-season. Where the old cabin flies, the question is what you pay for it, and the same seat costs less bought elsewhere.
